A New Family

I met the O family on a rainy day last week when their little girl, Kennedy, was just a week old. I think you’ll agree that she was a perfect little model!

Kennedy wasn’t super sleepy at first (hey, there is a LOT to learn about the world when you’re only a week old!), but with lots of cuddles from her mama and daddy, she was out like an adorable little light.

Worth the Wait!

You might remember the beautiful Miss Sarah from our session back in November (who can forget those brown eyes?). Sarah just became a big sister a couple of weeks ago, and I was lucky enough to get to visit with the R family again and to take photos of sweet Lillian. What a couple of lucky parents to have two such beautiful little girls!

I’m always a little in awe of newborns – they are so tiny and precious and I can’t help but marvel at their little features – have you ever seen such sweet little toes or such a cute face?

My (Not-So) Little Boy

My older son turns four tomorrow. I don’t know exactly where the time has gone, but I do know that somehow he has changed from a snuggly baby into a smart, funny, amazing little guy.A few weeks ago my father-in-law sent me his old twin lens camera to play with and I thought that it would make a great prop for a vintage-themed photo shoot (I’ll learn to use it for real someday soon, I promise). So I dressed my little boy up in an adorable (um, I mean handsome) vest, tie, and cap, and bribed the HECK out of him to get him to cooperate.I might be a little biased, but I think he’s super adorable (I mean handsome. He keeps reminding me!) and I am so happy with how the photos turned out. Now I have to decide which one I want printed on a canvas for our wall. I can’t pick a favorite, so get ready for picture overload (and feel free to tell me which one is YOUR favorite in the comments)!
